The communication method comprises the following steps of: storing ranking of quality by each of a plurality of communication methods; identifying a priority for each application when a plurality of applications are executed; identifying a communication method corresponding to each application based on the priority and rank of quality identified for each application; executing communication with a server corresponding to each application in an identified communication method. 서로 다른 복수의 통신 방식을 지원하는 디스플레이 장치의 통신 방법이 개시된다. 본 개시에 따른 통신 방법은 복수의 통신 방식 별로 품질 순위를 저장하는 단계; 복수의 어플리케이션이 실행 되면, 각 어플리케이션 별로 우선 순위를 식별하는 단계; 각 어플리케이션 별로 식별된 우선 순위 및 품질 순위를 바탕으로 각 어플리케이션 별로 대응되는 통신 방식을 식별하는 단계; 및 각 어플리케이션에 대응되는 서버와 식별된 통신 방식으로 통신을 수행하는 단계;를 포함한다.
