Summary:The present invention relates to a composition for promoting dentin regeneration comprising 4-pheylbutryic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active component. When 4-phenylbutyric acid according to the present invention is treated and cultured in dental embryos of mice, the number and activity of odontoblasts are increased, and after the formation of the pulp cavity of the mouse, the formation of dentin legs and tertiary dentin is increased by treatment with 4-phenylbutyric acid. Therefore, it is expected that the present invention can be usefully used in the treatment of tooth-related diseases that occur after tooth development by showing an effect of promoting dentin regeneration. 본 발명은 4-페닐부티르산 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용되는 염을 유효성분으로 포함하는 상아질 재생 촉진용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 4-페닐부티르산을 마우스의 치배에 처리하여 배양하였을 때 상아모세포의 숫자 및 활성이 증가되었으며, 마우스의 치수강 와동 형성 후 4-페닐부티르산 처리에 의해 상아질 다리 및 삼차상아질 형성이 증가한 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 발명은 상아질 재생 촉진 효과를 나타내어 치아 발달 후 발생하는 치아 관련 질환의 치료 등에 유용하게 이용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
