Provided is a golf shoe having an improved outsole. The golf shoe comprises: an upper, a midsole, and an outsole section. The outsole includes a first set of arc paths extending along the outsole in one direction. A second set of arc paths extends along the outsole in a second direction. When the first arc paths and the second arc paths are overlapped to each other, four-sided tile fragments are formed, and a tile includes a protrusion traction member. According to an embodiment, the tile includes a first protrusion traction member; a facing second protrusion traction member; and a non-protrusion segment which is disposed between the first traction member and the second traction member. A different traction section including a different traction member is provided to the outsole. These sections provide an improved multi-surface traction. In an embodiment of the outsole, there is no channeling and digging of golf course grass. There is less damage to the golf course for a provided amount of traction. In other embodiment, a heel step area without a traction member can be provided to the outsole.
