A method of controlling an electronic device is disclosed. A control method according to the present disclosure includes the steps of: acquiring image data including a first image frame and a second image frame and metadata for the image data; obtaining information on the manipulation region of the first image frame by inputting the first image frame into a first neural network model; obtaining similarity between the first image frame and the second image frame based on information on a motion vector included in the metadata; and determining whether the manipulation region exists in the second image frame based on the similarity and information on the manipulation region of the first image frame.
