Summary:The present invention relates to a method for measuring thermal conductivity, and more particularly, to a method for measuring the thermal conductivity of a coating layer, capable of accurately measuring the thermal conductivity of a coated thin film which has been difficult to measure, and a method for determining a heat dissipation coating layer using the same. The method for measuring the thermal conductivity of a coating layer of the present invention comprises the steps of measuring the thermal conductivity of a bulk material having opposite surfaces; forming a coating layer on any one surface of the bulk material; measuring the thermal diffusivity, specific heat and density of the bulk material on which the coating layer is formed; measuring the thermal conductivity of the bulk material on which the coating layer is formed through the measured thermal diffusivity, specific heat and density values; and determining a thermal conductivity value of the coating layer by subtracting a thermal conductivity measurement value of the same uncoated bulk material from the thermal conductivity measurement value of the bulk material on which the coating layer is formed.
