Summary:The present invention relates to a beam shaping assembly disposed at the end of the beam line of an accelerator for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) and receiving a target that emits neutrons by incident protons. The beam shaping assembly comprises: a moderator disposed in front of the target to reduce energy of neutrons scattered in an incident direction of protons; a collimator that collects a neutron flux to the patient's affected area; and a reflector that accommodates moderator and collimator to shield an external leakage of extrathermal neutrons and gamma rays. The present invention further comprises a back neutron reflector disposed outside the end of the beam line and behind the target to reflect back neutrons scattered back from the target back to the front. 본 발명은 붕소중성자포획치료(BNCT: Boron Neutron Capture Therapy)용 가속기의 빔 라인 종단에 배치되어, 입사되는 양성자에 의해 중성자를 방출하는 표적을 수용하는 감속집합체(beam shaping assembly)로서, 표적의 전방에 배치되어 양성자의 입사 방향으로 산란되는 중성자의 에너지를 감소시키는 감속재(moderator); 중성자 선속(flux)을 환자의 환부로 모으는 콜리메이터(collimator); 및 감속재 및 콜리메이터를 수용하여 열외중성자 및 감마선의 외부 누설을 차폐하는 반사체를 포함하되, 빔 라인 종단의 외측 및 표적의 후방에 배치되어 표적에서 후방으로 산란되는 중성자를 다시 전방으로 반사하도록 형성된 후방 중성자 반사장치를 더 포함하는 감속집합체에 관한 것이다.
