Summary:A method and a device for generating a numerical surface model using satellite images are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for generating a numerical surface model using satellite images includes the steps of: correcting a geometric error of the received satellite image; generating one or more depth maps in a stereo matching method based on the corrected satellite image; and fusing the generated depth map, estimating an altitude value for each position on the ground, and generating a numerical surface model. 위성영상을 이용한 수치표면모델 생성 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 위성영상을 이용한 수치표면모델 생성 방법은 입력받은 위성영상의 기하오차를 보정하는 단계, 보정된 상기 위성영상에 기반하여 스테레오 매칭 방식으로 하나 이상의 깊이지도를 생성하는 단계 및 생성된 상기 깊이지도를 융합하고, 지면의 위치별로 고도값을 추정하여 수치표면모델을 생성하는 단계를 포함한다.
