Summary:The present invention relates to a method of preparing a positive electrode active material precursor for a secondary battery, which comprises the steps of: (A) continuously adding and mixing a metal ion-containing solution, an ammonium ion-containing solution, and a basic aqueous solution into a continuous homogeneous mixing apparatus so as to form a positive electrode active material precursor seed; and (B) adding and reacting a solution containing the positive electrode active material precursor seed, the metal ion-containing solution, the ammonium ion-containing solution, and the basic aqueous solution into a batch reactor so as to grow positive electrode active material precursor particles. Accordingly, the present invention also relates to a method of preparing a positive electrode active material for a secondary battery, which comprises a step of mixing the resulting positive electrode active material precursor with a lithium-containing raw material, followed by sintering. 본 발명은 (A) 금속 이온 함유 용액, 암모늄 이온 함유 용액 및 염기성 수용액을 연속식 균일혼합 장치에 연속적으로 투입하고 혼합하여 양극 활물질 전구체 시드를 형성하는 단계; 및 (B) 상기 양극 활물질 전구체 시드를 포함하는 용액, 금속 이온 함유 용액, 암모늄 이온 함유 용액 및 염기성 수용액을 회분식 반응기에 투입하고 반응시켜 양극 활물질 전구체 입자를 성장시키는 단계;를 포함하는 이차전지용 양극 활물질 전구체의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 또한, 이에 따라 제조된 양극 활물질 전구체를 리튬 함유 원료 물질과 혼합한 후 소성하는 단계를 포함하는 이차전지용 양극 활물질의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
