Summary:The present invention relates to a device and a method for diagnosing can network sleep for a vehicle, which can diagnose and analyze the problem of non-sleep state of a CAN after the vehicle is parked. The device includes: a CAN signal detector configured to detect a CAN signal from a CAN which connects a plurality of controllers; a CAN sleep diagnosis unit configured to diagnose whether the CAN enters a sleep state; a memory storage decision unit configured to determine whether to store data received from the CAN signal detector and the CAN sleep diagnosis unit depending on whether the CAN enters the sleep state, and to store the data in a memory; and a diagnosis unit configured to check the data stored in the memory and to diagnose a non-sleep state of the CAN. 차량 주차 후에 캔 네트워크 슬립 미진입 문제를 진단 및 분석할 수 있는 차량용 캔 네트워크 슬립 진단 장치 및 그의 캔 네트워크 슬립 진단 방법에 관한 것으로, 다수의 제어기들에 통신 연결된 캔 네트워크(CAN network)로부터 캔 신호를 감지하는 캔 신호 감지부, 캔 네트워크의 슬립(sleep) 진입 여부를 진단하는 캔 네트워크 슬립 진단부, 캔 네트워크의 슬립 진입 여부에 따라 캔 신호 감지부와 캔 네트워크 슬립 진단부로부터 수신한 데이터의 저장 유무를 판단하여 데이터를 메모리에 저장하는 메모리 저장 판단부, 그리고 메모리에 저장된 데이터를 확인하여 슬립 미진입 문제를 진단하는 진단부를 포함할 수 있다.
