The present invention relates to a helmet, and in particular, a protective helmet (1) for work or sports to simply adjust the position of a protective body. According to the present invention, the helmet comprises: a structure (2) including at least one substantially convex outer surface (2a) and at least one substantially concave inner surface (2b); at least one protective body (3) including a first portion (3a) engageable to the inner surface (2b) of the structure (2) and a second portion (3b) having at least one cavity designed to receive a user's head, and preferably made of polystyrene; and a coupling mechanism (6) operatively fitted between the protective body (3) and the structure (2) to ensure a detachable coupling between the protective body (3) and structure (2) of the helmet (1). The coupling mechanism (6) includes at least one coupling seat (7) preferably embodied in the protective body (3) and at least one coupling element (8) preferably arranged on the structure (2) of the helmet (1), more preferably protruding from the inner surface (2b).
