[과제] 위생 재료에 사용하였을 때 우수한 흡수 특성(적은 액 복귀량)을 갖는 흡수성 수지의 제조 방법을 제공한다. [해결수단] 분산 장치에 단량체 조성물과 유기 용매와 분산 보조제를 연속적으로 공급하고, 상기 유기 용매 중에 상기 단량체 조성물을 포함하는 미세 액적을 분산시키는 것과, 상기 유기 용매 중에 분산된 미세 액적을 중합 장치에 공급하고, 상기 단량체를 중합하여 함수 겔상 중합체를 얻는 것과, 상기 함수 겔상 중합체로부터 분리한 상기 유기 용매를 상기 분산 장치에 다시 공급하는 것을 갖는 흡수성 수지의 제조 방법이며, 상기 분산 보조제의 내열성 지수가 60mN/m 이상인 흡수성 수지의 제조 방법. [Problem] To provide a method for producing a water-absorbing resin that has excellent absorption properties (small amount of liquid return) when used for a sanitary material. [Solution] A method for producing a water-absorbing resin, said method including: continuously supplying a monomer composition, an organic solvent, and a dispersion aid to a dispersion device to disperse fine droplets containing the monomer composition in the organic solvent; supplying the fine droplets dispersed in the organic solvent to a polymerization device to polymerize the monomer, thereby obtaining a water-containing gel-like polymer; and supplying again, to the dispersion device, the organic solvent separated from the water-containing gel-like polymer, wherein the heat resistance index of the dispersion aid is 60 mN/m or more.
