Summary: | A desalination electrode according to the present invention can suppress the formation of fouling by forming a partially hydrophilic protective layer on the surface of the electrode to improve filtration efficiency, and can effectively remove fouling by adjusting a voltage applied to the electrode during an adsorption-desorption process. The desalination electrode according to the present invention has the above characteristics, so the desalination electrode can be introduced into a CDI device for water treatment such as desalination of seawater and purification of industrial wastewater. When compared to an existing evaporation method or a reverse osmosis (RO) method, the desalination electrode can perform water treatment with very low energy costs, and have a large capacity.
본 발명에 따른 탈염전극은 전극의 표면에 부분적으로 친수처리한 보호층을 형성하여 파울링 형성을 억제할 수 있어 여과효율의 향상을 달성할 수 있으며, 흡착-탈착 공정 시 전극에 가해지는 전압을 조절하여 파울링을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 탈염전극은 상기와 같은 특성을 가짐에 따라 해수의 담수화 및 산업 폐수의 정화 등과 같은 수처리를 위한 CDI 장치에 도입될 수 있다. 이는 기존의 증발법이나 역삼투압(RO)법에 비해 매우 낮은 에너지 비용만으로 수처리가 가능하며 대용량화가 가능하다. |
