An objective of the present invention is to independently control air volumes of a left zone and a right zone by using a single motor. A method for calculating an opening ratio of a valve for air volume control of dual mode HVAC calculates opening ratios of valves for discharge air volume adjustment for each blower level for air volume control of HVAC for a vehicle having a plurality of outlets for discharging conditioned air, on which the valves are installed, and independently operable in a plurality of modes for two zones by a single blower and comprises: a step of setting a required air volume of each outlet in each mode for each level of the blower based on a case of independently operating in each zone; a step of calculating a basic opening ratio of each valve which can satisfy the distribution of the required air volume of each outlet in each mode for each level based on the case of independently operating in each zone; and a step of calculating a target opening ratio of each valve by correcting the basic opening ratio of each valve in each mode for each level of the blower for a case of simultaneously operating in the two zones based on the ratio of the required air volumes of the two zones. 듀얼 모드 HVAC의 풍량 제어를 위한 토출구의 밸브 개도율 산출 방법은 토출 풍량 조절을 위한 밸브가 각각 설치되는 조화 공기의 토출을 위한 복수의 토출구를 구비하고 단일의 블로워에 의해 독립적으로 두 개의 존(zone)에 대해 각각 복수의 모드로 작동할 수 있는 차량용 HVAC의 풍량 제어를 위한 각 블로워 단 별 상기 각 밸브의 개도율을 산출하며, 상기 각 존에 단독으로 작동하는 경우를 기준으로 상기 블로워의 각 단 별로 상기 각 모드 별로 상기 각 토출구의 요구 풍량을 설정하는 단계, 상기 각 존에 단독으로 작동하는 경우를 기준으로 상기 각 모드 별로 상기 각 토출구 별 요구 풍량의 배분을 충족할 수 있는 상기 각 밸브의 기본 개도율을 산출하는 단계, 그리고 상기 두 개의 존에 동시에 작동하는 경우에 대해 상기 블로워의 각 단 별로 상기 각 모드 별로 상기 각 밸브의 기본 개도율을 상기 두 개의 존의 요구 풍량의 비율을 기초로 보정하여 상기 각 밸브의 목표 개도율을 산출하는 단계를 포함한다.
