Summary:The object extraction apparatus for extracting an object from a video may include a tracking part for tracking at least one object included in a video; a crop region setting part for setting a crop region in any one frame constituting a video based on coordinate information on the tracked object; a crop region movement determining part that determines whether to move the crop region based on whether the tracked object exceeds the crop region; and an extracting part for extracting a partial video corresponding to the crop region determined whether to move or not from the video. Therefore, it is possible to extract the partial video corresponding to the crop region. 영상으로부터 객체를 추출하는 객체 추출 장치는 영상에 포함된 적어도 하나의 객체를 트래킹하는 트래킹부, 트래킹된 객체에 대한 좌표 정보에 기초하여 영상을 구성하는 어느 하나의 프레임에서 크롭 영역을 설정하는 크롭 영역 설정부, 트래킹된 객체가 크롭 영역을 초과하는지 여부에 기초하여 크롭 영역의 이동 여부를 결정하는 크롭 영역 이동 결정부, 영상으로부터 이동 여부가 결정된 크롭 영역에 해당하는 부분 영상을 추출하는 추출부를 포함할 수 있다.
