Summary:An objective of the present invention is to provide an optical film having excellent durability against a cold/heat cycle, a manufacturing method thereof and a polarized plate. The optical film of the present invention is an optical film containing acrylic resin (A), elastic body particles (B) and resin (C) different from the acrylic resin (A). The acrylic resin (A) is a main component, has an N-substituted maleimide as a composition unit, and has a weight-average molecular weight of no less than 300,000. The elastic body particles (B) have an average particle diameter of within 50 to 500 nm, and its content is within 5 to 25 mass%. The resin (C) is an acetyl cellulose or cyclo olefin polymer having a substitution degree of no less than 2.70, and its content satisfies a specific formula (1). 본 발명의 과제는, 한난 사이클에 대한 내구성이 우수한 광학 필름, 그 제조 방법 및 편광판을 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명의 광학 필름은, 아크릴 수지(A)와 탄성체 미립자(B)와 상기 아크릴 수지(A)와는 다른 수지(C)를 함유하는 광학 필름이며, 상기 아크릴 수지(A)가, 주성분이며, N 치환 말레이미드를 구성 단위로서 갖고, 중량 평균 분자량은 300000 이상이며, 상기 탄성체 미립자(B)가, 평균 입자경은 50 내지 500㎚의 범위 내이며, 그 함유량은 5 내지 25질량%의 범위 내이고, 상기 수지(C)가, 평균 치환도 2.70 이상의 아세틸셀룰로오스 또는 시클로올레핀 폴리머이며, 그 함유량이, 특정 식 (1)을 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 한다.
