The present invention relates to an online shopping support device, and a method for operating the online shopping support device, which supports purchase of products at competitive prices for buyers who access an exhibitor's webpage based on an online price list embedded in the exhibitor's webpage according to the exhibitor's (individual user's) request. The online shopping support device includes: a confirmation unit which checks the online price list of a specific product embedded in the exhibitor's web page; an update unit which updates a selling price displayed on the online price list according to a result of reverse auction between sellers for the selling price of the specific product; and a processing unit which processes a purchase procedure of a specific product based on the updated selling price when purchase intention of the purchaser accessing the web page of the exhibitor is confirmed from the online price list. 본 발명은 전시자(개인 유저)의 요구에 따라 전시자의 웹페이지에 임베딩되는 온라인가격표를 기반으로 전시자의 웹페이지에 접속한 구매자에 대해서 경쟁력 있는 가격의 상품 구매를 지원하기 위한 온라인쇼핑지원장치 및 온라인쇼핑지원장치의 동작 방법에 관한 것이다.
