According to one embodiment of the present invention, a display device comprises a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of connection lines disposed to extend to an end of the first substrate and a plurality of pads disposed on a side surface of the first substrate and electrically connected to the plurality of connection lines, respectively. Each of the plurality of connection lines includes a first area and a second area extending from the first area, the first area has a width greater than a width of the second area, and the width of the second area is substantially the same as a width of each of the plurality of pads, thereby improving reliability. 일 실시예예 따른 표시장치는 제1 기판 및 제2 기판을 포함하고, 제1 기판은, 제1 기판 일단 상에 배치되는 복수의 연결라인들 및 제1 기판의 측면에 배치되고, 복수의 연결라인들 각각에 전기적으로 연결된 복수의 패드들을 포함한다. 복수의 연결라인들 각각은 제1 영역 및 제1 영역에서 연장된 제2 영역을 포함하고, 제1 영역의 폭은 상기 제2 영역의 폭보다 크고, 제2 영역의 폭은 복수의 패드들 각각의 폭과 실질적으로 동일하여 신뢰성이 향상될 수 있다.
