Disclosed are a control system and a control method of a BLDC motor. The control system of a BLDC motor comprises: a detection unit detecting an occurrence time of a plurality of zero crossings occurring while a motor is being driven; an estimation unit estimating a normal occurrence time of the zero crossing based on the occurrence time of the plurality of zero crossings detected by the detection unit; and a determination unit which determines whether a currently detected occurrence time of the zero crossing is normal based on the normal occurrence time of the zero crossing estimated by the estimation unit. 모터의 구동 중 발생하는 복수의 제로크로싱의 발생 시점을 감지하는 감지부; 감지부에서 감지한 복수의 제로크로싱의 발생 시점을 기반으로 제로크로싱의 정상 발생 시점을 추정하는 추정부; 및 추정부에서 추정한 제로크로싱의 정상 발생 시점을 기반으로 현재 감지된 제로크로싱의 발생 시점이 정상인지 판단하는 판단부;를 포함하는 BLDC 모터의 제어시스템 및 제어방법이 소개된다.
