Summary:The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing stop arrival information in public transportation, which can increase the convenience of passengers by arranging a configuration such that the passengers can select a destination stop at a seat of public transport and providing an alarm signal when arriving at a destination. The system includes: a public transportation module which is installed in each public transportation to provide a function of inputting and setting a drop-off stop after the passenger has boarded and seated in the public transportation, and provides an alarm signal according to the degree of proximity to the drop-off stop to allow the passengers to get off at the set drop off stop; and a public transportation management server which supports interworking with a smart terminal of the boarding passenger, and supports the provision of stop arrival information by collecting information about the stop and location based on the movement route of the public transportation. 본 발명은 대중교통의 좌석에 하차 정류장을 선택할 수 있는 구성을 배치하여, 목적지에 도착하면 알람 신호를 제공하여 승객의 편리성을 높일 수 있도록 한 대중 교통수단에서의 정류장 도착 정보 제공을 위한 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 각각의 대중 교통수단에 장착되어 고객의 대중 교통 수단 탑승 및 착석이 이루어진 후 하차 정류장 입력 및 설정 기능을 제공하고, 하차 정류장 근접 정도에 따라 알람 신호를 제공하여 입력 설정된 하차 정류장에서 하차가 이루어지도록 하는 대중 교통 수단 모듈;탑승 고객의 스마트 단말과의 연동을 지원하고, 대중 교통수단 이동 경로를 기반으로 정류장 통과 및 위치 정보 수집을 하여 정류장 도착 정보 제공을 위한 지원을 하는 대중 교통수단 관리서버;를 포함하는 것이다.
