According to various embodiments, an electronic device includes a communication module, a processor electrically connected with the communication module, and a memory electrically connected with the processor. The memory stores instructions that when executed, cause the processor to receive at least one first communication signal including information on a position of a stylus pen through the communication module, to identify a gesture based on the information on the information of the stylus pen to identify an operation corresponding to the gesture, and to repeat the operation, when an event for repeating the operation is detected based on at least one second communication signal received from the stylus pen.
