According to one embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a display apparatus which comprises: a lower substrate which includes a display area including a display element and a non-display area surrounding the display area; a sealing member which is disposed on the non-display area and surrounds the display area; a terminal portion which is disposed on the non-display area and includes at least one internal terminal extending to an edge of the lower substrate; a fan-out line portion which is connected to the at least one internal terminal and includes a line extending to the display area; an upper substrate which is disposed to face the lower substrate and bonded to the lower substrate by the sealing member; and an upper groove portion which is provided on a side surface of the upper substrate to correspond to the at least one internal terminal.
