According to one embodiment of the present invention, an optical film includes: a first pattern layer having a first refractive index and including a base portion and a plurality of protrusions disposed on the base portion; and a second pattern layer disposed on the first pattern layer, and having a second refractive index different from the first refractive index, wherein each of the plurality of protrusions include n number of sub-protrusions which are stacked in a thickness direction of the base portion. In the optical film of one embodiment, each of the n number of sub-protrusions has a rectangular shape in a cross-section perpendicular to the base portion, and a side surface of the protrusion defined by the n number of sub-protrusions includes at least one step, wherein since n has an integer of 2 or more, a display quality on the front and the side surface of the display device may be improved. 일 실시예의 광학 필름은 베이스부 및 베이스부 상에 배치된 복수 개의 돌출부들을 포함하며, 제1 굴절률을 갖는 제1 패턴층 및 제1 패턴층 상에 배치되고, 제1 굴절률과 상이한 제2 굴절률을 갖는 제2 패턴층을 포함하고, 복수 개의 돌출부들 각각은 베이스부의 두께 방향으로 적층된 n개의 서브 돌출부들을 포함한다. 일 실시예의 광학 필름에서 n개의 서브 돌출부들 각각은 상기 베이스부에 수직하는 단면상에서 사각형 형상을 가지며, n개의 서브 돌출부들에 의해 정의되는 상기 돌출부의 측면은 적어도 하나의 단차부를 포함하고, n은 2 이상의 정수를 가짐으로써, 표시 장치의 정면 및 측면에서의 표시 품질을 개선할 수 있다.
