착용자의 눈의 전방에 착용되도록 의도된 렌즈 요소로서, - 상기 착용자의 눈의 이상 굴절을 보정하기 위한 착용자의 처방에 기초하는 제1 광학 기능을 표준 착용 조건에서 착용자에게 제공하도록 구성된 처방 부분; 및 - 복수의 연속적 광학 요소를 포함하며, 각각의 광학 요소는, - 표준 착용 조건에서의 제2 광학 기능, 및 - 눈의 이상 굴절의 진행을 둔화시키기 위해, 상기 표준 착용 조건에서 눈의 망막에 상을 집속하지 않는 제3 광학 기능을 동시에 제공하는 동시적인 이중 초점 광학 기능을 갖는다. A lens element intended to be worn in front of an eye of a wearer comprising:- a prescription portion configured to provide to the wearer in standard wearing conditions a first optical function based on the prescription of the wearer for correcting an abnormal refraction of said eye of the wearer, and- a plurality of contiguous optical elements,wherein each optical element has a simultaneously bifocal optical function that provides simultaneously:- a second optical function in standard wearing conditions and- a third optical function of not focusing an image on the retina of the eye in said standard wearing conditions so as to slow down the progression of the abnormal refraction of the eye.
