Disclosed is a display apparatus capable of providing various services. The display apparatus comprises: a display; an interface connected to a dongle having an operating system (OS) loaded therein, wherein the OS is different from an OS loaded in the display apparatus; a user input unit; and a processor to display a received first execution image on one area of the display when the first execution image of an application based on the different OS is received from the dongle, convert coordinate information of a point at which a user operation is inputted with respect to the display into coordination information with respect to the one area to transmit the converted coordinate information to the dongle when the user operation for the application is inputted within the one area via the user input unit, and display a second execution image on the display when the second execution image of the application, in which an operation corresponding to the user operation is performed based on the converted coordinate information, is received from the dongle. 디스플레이 장치가 개시된다. 본 디스플레이 장치는, 디스플레이, 디스플레이 장치에 탑재된 OS(operating system)와 다른 OS가 탑재된 동글과 연결되는 인터페이스, 사용자 입력부 및 동글로부터 다른 OS에 기반한 어플리케이션의 제 1 실행 영상이 수신되면, 수신된 제 1 실행 영상을 디스플레이의 일 영역에 표시하고, 사용자 입력부를 통해 일 영역 내에서 상기 어플리케이션에 대한 사용자 조작이 입력되면, 디스플레이를 기준으로 한 사용자 조작이 입력된 지점에 대한 좌표 정보를, 일 영역을 기준으로 한 좌표 정보로 변환하여 동글로 전송하며, 변환된 좌표 정보에 기초하여 상기 사용자 조작에 대응되는 동작이 수행된 어플리케이션의 제 2 실행 영상이 동글로부터 수신되면, 제 2 실행 영상을 디스플레이에 표시하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
