Summary:A method of detecting a line in an image or video is disclosed. According to the present invention, the method may comprise the steps of: smoothing an image; selecting an area in which a line is to be detected; determining a center pixel in the selected area; mounting a window centered on the center pixel; detecting a sum of differences in gradient angles of pixels surrounding the center pixel; classifying pixels into ridges and valleys; and removing non-maximum pixels. Accordingly, even if a line to be detected is thicker, it is possible to accurately detect the line in an image or video. 이미지 또는 영상에서 라인을 검출하는 방법이 개시된다. 상기 방법은, 영상을 스무딩하는 단계; 상기 라인을 검출하고자 하는 영역을 선택하는 단계; 상기 선택한 영역에서 중심 픽셀을 결정하는 단계; 상기 중심 픽셀을 중심으로 한 윈도우를 장착하는 단계; 상기 중심 픽셀을 둘러싸는 픽셀들의 그래디언트 각도 차이의 합을 검출하는 단계; 픽셀을 릿지(ridge)와 밸리(valley)로 분류하는 단계; 비최대값 픽셀을 제거하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
