Disclosed are a system and a method for providing a warning service of a vehicle. According to one aspect of the present invention, the system for providing a warning service of a vehicle comprises: a communication unit which performs pairing with a mobile terminal; and a control unit which acquires vehicle information including at least one of vehicle status information, vehicle driving information, and vehicle auxiliary information, determines whether a situation for warning has occurred or not based on the vehicle information, determines whether a warning must be given to the mobile terminal for the situation for warning when the situation for warning has occurred, and transmits the warning information to the mobile terminal through the communication unit when the warning is needed. The control unit is able to transmit, when the situation for warning is insufficient fuel or failure of the vehicle, the fuel lack alert information or the vehicle failure alert information including a linked service menu to the mobile terminal, and when the situation requires a transfer of the right to control, transmit the warning information including a use limit signal for limiting the use of the mobile terminal to the mobile terminal.
