Provided is a plasma processing apparatus capable of suppressing damage to a ground member made of silicon provided in an inner space of a chamber. The plasma processing apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention has a chamber, a wall member, a heat insulating member, and a ground member. The wall member is partially disposed within an inner space of the chamber and is exposed to an outer space of the chamber. The heat insulating member is provided on the wall member. The ground member is made of silicon. The ground member is provided in the inner space. The ground member is mounted on the heat insulating member. The wall member supports the ground member through the heat insulating member in a non-contact state with the ground member.
