Summary:The present invention relates to a sulfur-carbon composite, to a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery, comprising the same, and to a lithium secondary battery and, more specifically, to a sulfur-carbon composite, wherein carbon contained in the sulfur-carbon composite includes carbon of various shapes. In particular, the elution of sulfur is prevented when the sulfur-carbon composite is applied as a positive electrode active material of a lithium secondary battery by including a certain amount of faceted carbon. In addition, the performance of the lithium secondary battery is improved by improving the reaction rate at the positive electrode. 본 발명은 황-탄소 복합체, 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지용 양극 및 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 상기 황-탄소 복합체에 포함된 탄소는 다양한 형상의 탄소를 포함하며, 특히, 면형 탄소를 일정 함량으로 포함하여 상기 황-탄소 복합체를 리튬 이차전지의 양극 활물질로 적용할 경우 황의 용출을 방지하고, 양극에서의 반응속도를 향상시킴으로써 리튬 이차전지의 성능을 개선할 수 있다.
