Summary:Provided are a touch device capable of acquiring a touch position within a short period of time and a touch detection method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the touch device comprises: a touch panel including a plurality of first touch electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a plurality of second touch electrodes extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction; and a touch driving part that applies a first driving signal for generating a resonance signal of a stylus pen in a first section, and receives a sensing signal from all of the plurality of touch electrodes and the plurality of second touch electrodes in a second section after the first section. 일 실시예에 따른 터치 장치는 제1 방향으로 연장되고, 제1 방향과 교차하는 제2 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제1 터치 전극, 제2 방향으로 연장되고, 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제2 터치 전극을 포함하는 터치 패널, 그리고 제1 구간에 스타일러스 펜의 공진 신호 발생을 위한 제1 구동 신호를 터치 패널에 인가하고, 제1 구간 다음의 제2 구간에 복수의 제1 터치 전극과 복수의 제2 터치 전극 모두로부터 감지 신호를 수신하는 터치 구동부를 포함한다.
