Provided are a liquid circulation apparatus and a tank, capable of suppressing accumulation of metal debris in a liquid in a heat exchanger and uniformly controlling a temperature of the liquid. The present liquid circulation apparatus for machine tools has: a tank (21) having a liquid introduction unit and a lead-out unit (25A, 25B), and storing the liquid circulating between the machine tools; and a heat exchanger (23) disposed in the tank. Then, the tank (21) has a throttle unit (211h) with a narrowed cross-sectional area in the middle of a passage of the liquid between the introduction unit and the lead-out unit. In addition, at least a part of the heat exchanger (23) is disposed on the throttle unit (211h). 액체 중의 금속부스러기가 열교환기에 퇴적하는 것을 억제할 수 있고, 액체를 균일하게 온도조절할 수 있는 액체순환장치 및 탱크를 제공한다. 이 공작기계용의 액체순환장치는, 액체의 도입부와 도출부(25A, 25B)를 갖고, 공작기계와의 사이에서 순환되는 액체가 저류되는 탱크(21)와, 탱크 내에 배치되는 열교환기(23)를 구비한다. 그리고, 탱크(21)는, 도입부와 도출부의 사이의 액체의 통로의 도중에 통로의 단면적이 좁혀진 스로틀부(211h)를 갖고, 열교환기(23)의 적어도 일부가 스로틀부(211h)에 배치되어 있다.
