Summary:The present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a maleimide compound, which can easily obtain the maleimide compound while suppressing side reactions other than maleimidation, and a method for manufacturing a compound and a solid phase resin. The present invention relates to the method for manufacturing the maleimide compound, which the method for manufacturing the maleimide compound having a group represented by formula (a1), which comprises: a first process of condensing a primary amino group in a raw material compound having a primary amino group and a dicarboxylic anhydride represented by formula (a2) to produce a group represented by formula (a3); and a second process of heating the compound having a group represented by formula (a3), produced in the first process to convert the group represented by formula (a3) into the group represented by formula (a1).
