According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a motor control device for controlling a motor which drives a cooling fan of a car. The motor control device comprises: an input unit receiving a driving RPM of a motor when a driving command for the motor is inputted; a comparison unit comparing the driving RPM with a target RPM; a calculation unit calculating a voltage change rate of an input voltage applied to the motor when the driving RPM and the target RPM are different as a result of the comparison; a selection unit selecting a control mode for controlling the number of revolutions of the motor based on the voltage change rate; and a control unit controlling the motor by generating a control signal in accordance with the selected control mode. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 모터 제어 장치는 모터에 대한 구동 지령이 입력되면, 상기 모터의 구동 RPM을 입력받는 입력부, 상기 구동 RPM을 목표 RPM과 비교하는 비교부, 상기 비교 결과, 상기 구동 RPM과 상기 목표 RPM이 상이하면, 상기 모터에 인가되는 입력 전압의 전압 변동율을 산출하는 산출부, 상기 전압 변동율에 기초하여 상기 모터의 회전수를 제어하는 제어 모드를 선택하는 선택부, 그리고 선택된 상기 제어 모드에 따른 제어 신호를 생성하여 상기 모터를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
