Summary:The present invention relates to a system and method for autonomously operating credentials based on a public ledger. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: registering credential issuance authority information in a public ledger of a blockchain platform; and verifying a credential issued to a first computing device with reference to the credential issuance authority information registered in the public ledger. The credential issuance authority information includes a range of attribute values assigned to a credential issuer and information on a public key of the credential issuer. A second computing device verifies the credential issued to the first computing device by referring to the credential issuance authority information registered in the public ledger. 본 발명은 공개 원장 기반 크리덴셜 자율적 운영 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 방법은 크리덴셜(credential) 발급 권한 정보를 블록체인 플랫폼의 공개 원장에 등록하는 단계, 그리고 상기 공개 원장에 등록된 크리덴셜 발급 권한 정보를 참조하여 제1 컴퓨팅 장치에 발급된 크리덴셜을 검증하는 단계를 포함한다. 크리덴셜 발급 권한 정보는 크리덴셜 발급자에게 할당된 속성값 범위와 크리덴셜 발급자의 공개키 정보를 포함한다. 제2 컴퓨팅 장치는 공개 원장에 등록된 크리덴셜 발급 권한 정보를 참조하여 제1 컴퓨팅 장치에 발급된 크리덴셜을 검증한다.
