Summary: | A cap is positioned to contact a printhead when the printhead is not ejecting liquid ink. The cap and the printhead create a sealed space adjacent to printhead nozzles when contacting each other. An evaporator is connected to the cap and is configured to control evaporation a water-incompatible or solvent-incompatible liquid into the sealed space to condense an ink-blocking film on the surface of the liquid ink in the nozzles to protect the liquid ink in the nozzles. The present invention prevents the ink in the nozzles from drying and prevents the nozzles from clogging.
프린트헤드가 액체 잉크를 방출하고 있지 않을 때 캡이 프린트헤드와 접촉하도록 위치된다. 캡과 프린트헤드는 서로 접촉할 때 프린트헤드 노즐에 인접한 밀봉된 공간을 생성한다. 증발기가 캡에 연결되고, 노즐 내의 액체 잉크를 보호하기 위해 노즐 내의 액체 잉크의 표면 상에 잉크-차단 막을 응축시키도록 밀봉된 공간 내로의 물-불상용성 또는 용매-불상용성 액체의 증발을 제어하도록 구성된다. 이것은 노즐 내의 잉크가 건조되는 것을 방지하고 노즐이 막히는 것을 방지한다. |
