Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for coating a photocatalyst on a porous support in the form of a foam or honeycomb serving as a base of a deodorant filter. According to the present invention, there is realized a new manner of coating a photocatalyst which is optimized to be appropriate to a characteristic of a porous support member through the combination of a dipping process, an air knife process, a hot air drying process, or a fan cooling process to effectively fix a photocatalyst coating liquid on the porous support member, such as a foam or a honeycomb, in which most part of the porous support member allows air to smoothly flow and generates photoactivity of the photocatalyst, thereby preparing a photocatalytic deodorization filter prepared to have a wider use range, to improve efficiency of the coating process, and to ensure coating quality, such that a lifespan is increased, and excellent performance is exhibited. The air knife process is performed in an environment in which a uniform temperature condition is constantly maintained, when uniformly dispersing a coating liquid coated on the porous support member after dipping the photocatalyst coating liquid on an inner part of the porous support member and the surface of the porous support member. In addition, the coating liquid may be uniformly dispersed on the porous support member regardless of the viscosity of the coating liquid based on a temperature variation, thereby improving the coating efficiency. 본 발명은 탈취 필터 등의 기재 역할을 하는 폼, 허니콤 형태의 다공성 지지체에 광촉매를 코팅하는 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 공기의 흐름이 원활하고 광촉매의 광활성을 일으키는 부분이 많은 폼(Foam), 허니콤(Honeycomb) 등과 같은 다공성 지지체에 광촉매 코팅액을 효과적으로 고정시키기 위하여 디핑(Dipping) 공정, 에어 나이프 공정, 열풍 건조 공정, 팬 냉각 공정 등을 연계적으로 조합하여, 다공성 지지체의 특성에 맞게 최적화시킨 새로운 광촉매 코팅 방식을 구현함으로써, 코팅 공정의 효율성을 높일 수 있고, 코팅 품질을 확보할 수 있는 등 수명이 길고 성능이 우수하며 이용 범위가 넓은 광촉매 탈취 필터를 제조할 수 있는 한편, 타공성 지지체의 내부와 표면에 광촉매 코팅액을 디핑한 후에 다공성 지지체에 도포되어 있는 코팅액을 균일하게 분산시킬 때, 항상 균일한 온도 조건이 유지되고 있는 환경에서 에어나이프 공정을 실시함으로써, 온도변화에 따른 코팅액의 점도에 관계없이 다공성 지지체에 코팅액을 균일하게 분산시킬 수 있는 등 코팅 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 필터 지지체 코팅 장치를 제공한다.
