The present invention relates to an electrolyte for an aluminum air battery, and more particularly, to an electrolyte additive for an aluminum air battery and an aluminum air battery including the same. According to the present invention, the electrolyte for suppressing the generation of hydrogen is provided to delay a reaction rate of bonding of radical hydrogen to suppress a parasitic corrosion reaction, and catalyze a reaction between OH-ion and aluminum to make electromotive force high, thereby achieving an effect of improving battery performance. 본 발명은 알루미늄 공기전지용 전해액에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 알루미늄 공기전지용 전해액 첨가제 및 이를 포함하는 알루미늄 공기전지에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 수소 발생을 억제시키는 전해액을 제공함으로써, Radical 수소의 결합의 반응속도를 지연시킴으로써 기생 부식반응을 억제하고 OH이온과 알루미늄 사이의 반응을 촉진시켜 기전력을 높게 형성함으로써 전지 성능을 향상시키는 효과를 달성한다.
