Summary:According to one embodiment of the present invention, a light unit with improved optical properties includes a light source and an optical member transmitting and converting light emitted from a light source. The optical member includes a light guide plate, a low refractive index layer positioned on the light guide plate and having a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the light guide plate, a first capping layer positioned on the low refractive index layer, and a wavelength conversion layer positioned on the first capping layer and including a quantum dot. The light guide plate includes a metal oxide. The metal oxide is transparent. 일 실시예에 따른 라이트 유닛은 광원, 그리고 상기 광원에서 방출되는 광을 전달 및 변환하는 광학 부재를 포함하며, 상기 광학 부재는, 도광판, 상기 도광판 위에 위치하며 상기 도광판의 굴절률보다 작은 굴절률을 가지는 저굴절률층, 상기 저굴절률층 위에 위치하는 제1 캐핑층, 그리고 상기 제1 캐핑층 위에 위치하며 양자점을 포함하는 파장 변환층을 포함하고, 상기 도광판은 금속산화물을 포함하며, 상기 금속산화물은 투명하다.
