Summary: | Provided are an electrolytic electrode and a manufacturing method thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to an electrolytic electrode including a metal substrate; and a catalyst layer formed on the metal substrate, wherein the catalyst layer includes a platinum group metal, a lanthanide metal, and a leveling additive which is an acrylic copolymer solution. The leveling additive is included in an amount of 1 to 10 wt% based on the total weight of the catalyst layer.
