The vehicle may: be less than 1975mm wide (D2, Fig. 2a); have a frontal area (A, Fig. 2b) of less than 2.7 square metres; have a cabin height of 1340-1465mm; have a front overhang D6 less than 850mm and a rear overhang D7 less than 950mm; a breakover angle A4 of at least 20 degrees; and an approach A1 angle and departure A2 angle of at least 25 degrees. The distance between the leading edges of the body and windscreen may be less than 870 mm. The windscreen may be inclined at 25-30 degrees to the horizontal. The driver's seat may have a height D9' (H-point) of 260-300 mm above the cabin floor and at least 740 mm above the ground D9. A battery pack 4 may be positioned beneath the passenger cabin. The vehicle's tyres may have: a section width of 235-255mm; an outside diameter of 800-850mm; a tyre depth of 80-135mm; and a tyre section width of 27-32% the wheel diameter. The wheel diameter may be 45-55% the height of the vehicle. The vertical distance between body underside and the roof may be 20-30% of the length of the vehicle.
