Summary:The present invention relates to a light emitting device that has advantages of suppressing the occurrence of leakage currents and increasing the reliability thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the light emitting device comprises: a first conductive semiconductor layer; an active layer disposed on the first conductive semiconductor layer; and a second conductive semiconductor layer disposed on the active layer, wherein the first conductive semiconductor layer includes a first recess area, the second conductive semiconductor layer includes a second recess area, the first recess area and the second recess area are dislocated in a direction perpendicular to each other, and threading dislocation extending from the first recess area to the second recess area can be included therein. 실시 예에 따른 발광소자는, 제1 도전형 반도체층; 제1 도전형 반도체층 상에 배치된 활성층; 활성층 상에 배치된 제2 도전형 반도체층; 을 포함하고, 제1 도전형 반도체층은 제1 리세스 영역을 포함하고, 제2 도전형 반도체층은 제2 리세스 영역을 포함하고, 제1 리세스 영역과 제2 리세스 영역은 서로 수직한 방향으로 어긋나고, 제1 리세스 영역에서 제2 리세스 영역으로 연장되는 관통 전위를 포함할 수 있다.
