A power conversion device includes a converter (2R), a first capacitor (C1R), and a second capacitor (C2R). The first capacitor (C1R) is connected between a DC positive bus (PL1) and a DC neutral point bus (NL1). The second capacitor (C2R) is connected between the DC neutral point bus (NL1) and a DC negative bus (CL1). The converter (2R) includes a diode rectifier (D1R, D2R) connected between an AC power supply (1) and each of the DC positive bus (PL1) and the DC negative bus (NL1), and a first AC switch (D3R to D6R, Q1R) electrically connected between the AC power supply (1) and the DC neutral point bus (CL1). The power conversion device further includes a first fuse (FR) electrically connected between the first AC switch (D3R to D6R, Q1R) and a connection point between the first and second capacitors.
