Disclosed are a door, which has an improved structure to allow a door handle to be integrally formed with a door, and a clothing treatment apparatus having the same. According to the present invention, a washing machine comprises a main body, a laundry insertion port formed on a front surface of the main body, and a door for opening and closing the laundry insertion port. The door comprises: a holder member rotatably coupled to the front surface of the main body; a transparent member passing through the holder member and coupled to the holder member; and a cover member for covering a front surface of the holder member to form the appearance of the door.
