본 발명은 3-메틸-1-페닐-2-피라졸린-5-온(에다라본)의 염에 관한 것으로, 상기 염은 3-메틸-1-페닐-2-피라졸린-5-온 나파디실레이트(napadisylate) 또는 3-메틸-1-페닐-2-피라졸린-5-온 헤미-나파디실레이트(hemi-napadisylate)이다. 이러한 에다라본의 나파디실레이트 염은 제조가 용이하고, 비-에다라본계(free edaravone base)보다 물에 더 빠르게 용해된다. 또한 본 발명의 에다라본 염은 매우 안정적이고 취급하기 용이하다. 본 발명은 또한 상기 언급된 에다라본 염을 포함하는 약학 조성물 및 이러한 에다라본 염의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
