본 발명의 실시예는 이동성 관리 방법, 장치, 및 시스템을 개시하고, 무선 통신 기술 분야에 관한 것이다. 상기 방법은, 4G 네트워크 내의 사용자 장비에 의해 설정된 PDN 연결에 관한 정보에 기반하여, 제1 이동성 관리 엔티티가, PDN 연결에 대응하는 네트워크 슬라이스를 결정하는 단계, 이후, 사용자 장비의 가입된 네트워크 슬라이스를 참조하여 사용자 장비에게 허가된 네트워크 슬라이스를 결정하는 단계를 포함한다. 그러므로, 사용자 장비가 4G 네트워크 내에서 DCN 서비스를 누리는 4G 커버리지 영역에서 5G 기지국의 커버리지 영역으로 이동할 때, 사용자 장비는 적절한 네트워크 슬라이스로 핸드오버될 수 있고, 여전히 4G 네트워크와 동등한 네트워크 서비스를 누릴 수 있다는 것이 보장된다. Embodiments of the present invention disclose a mobility management method, apparatus, and system, and pertain to the field of wireless communications technologies. The method includes: determining, by a first mobility management entity based on information about a PDN connection established by user equipment in a 4G network, a network slice corresponding to the PDN connection, and then determining, with reference to a subscribed network slice of the user equipment, a network slice allowed for the user equipment. Therefore, it is ensured that when moving from a 4G coverage area in which the user equipment enjoys a DCN service in the 4G network to a coverage area of a 5G base station, the user equipment can be handed over to a proper network slice, and can still enjoy a network service equivalent to that in the 4G network.
