Summary:Embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus for detecting the life of people when a fire occurs and to a system thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for detecting the life of people when a fire occurs comprises: a microwave sensor for measuring biometric information of the life of people who are fire-damaged using microwaves; a wireless communication unit performing long-range wireless communication with an external network device; a battery for supplying power; and a heat-resistant housing for protecting the microwave sensor, the wireless communication unit and the battery from the heat caused by a fire. 본 발명의 실시예들은 화재 발생시 인명을 감지하기 위한 장치 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 화재 발생시 인명을 감지하기 위한 장치로서, 마이크로파를 이용하여 화재 피해 인명의 생체 정보를 측정하기 위한 마이크로파 센서와, 외부 네트워크 장치와 장거리 무선통신을 수행하는 무선통신부와, 전력을 공급하기 위한 배터리와, 상기 마이크로파 센서, 상기 무선통신부 및 상기 배터리를 화재 발생에 따른 열로부터 보호하기 위한 내열성 하우징을 포함하는 인명 감지 장치가 제공된다.
