Summary:According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a traffic information processing system, which includes a first terminal mounted on a first vehicle, a second terminal mounted on a second terminal, and a wireless access in vehicular environment (WAVE) server providing a wireless communication network between the first terminal and the second terminal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the traffic information processing system can freely acquire and use traffic information without the need for roadside fixed facilities for the collection and distribution of traffic information, and can provide a traffic situation ahead in the shortest time. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 교통정보 처리 시스템은 제 1 차량에 장착된 제 1 단말기; 제 2 차량에 장착된 제 2 단말기; 및 상기 제 1 단말기와 제 2 단말기 사이에 무선통신 네트워크를 제공하는 WAVE(Wireless Acceess in Vehicular Environment) 서버;를 포함한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 교통정보 처리 시스템은 교통정보의 수집 및 분배를 위한 도로변 고정 시설물들이 필요없이 자유로운 교통 정보획득 및 이용이 가능하고, 최단시간 내에 전방의 교통상황을 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
