Summary:The objective of the present invention is to provide a battery module in which heat generated in a plurality of battery cells can be smoothly discharged to the outside and the plurality of battery cells can be uniformly cooled. To achieve the objective of the present invention, the battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention can comprise: a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other; and a circuit module electrically connected to the plurality of battery cells and having a plate-shaped circuit part having width and length, wherein the circuit part can be disposed between one pair of battery cells among the plurality of battery cells in a state where a width direction of the circuit part is parallel to a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the plurality of battery cells are stacked. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리 모듈은, 서로 적층되는 복수의 배터리 셀; 및 복수의 배터리 셀과 전기적으로 연결되며 폭과 길이를 갖는 판 형상의 회로부를 갖는 회로 모듈을 포함할 수 있고, 회로부는 회로부의 폭 방향이 복수의 배터리 셀이 적층되는 방향에 직교하는 방향에 평행한 상태에서 복수의 배터리 셀 중 어느 한 쌍의 배터리 셀 사이에 배치될 수 있다.
