Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring a moment of inertia in the directions of roll and yaw motions of a model ship. In the apparatus of the present invention, in the state where a model ship is seated and fixed through a crane, a fixing device for fixing the model ship during roll motion of the model ship is pendulum-moved according to the roll motion of the model ship on a circular rail. In addition, the apparatus causes a vertical axis of a horizontal table to which a spring is attached according to the yaw motion of the model ship to perform the yaw motion on the horizontal table during the yaw motion of the model ship. Therefore, the moment of inertia in the direction of the roll motion and the moment of inertia in the direction of the yaw motion can be accurately measured together through a gravitational restoring force while the model ship is fixed. 본 발명은 크레인을 통해 모형선을 안착 및 고정한 상태에서, 모형선의 횡동요 시 모형선을 고정하는 고정장치가 원형 레일 상에서 모형선의 횡동요에 따라 진자운동되도록 하고, 또한 모형선의 선수동요 시 수평 테이블 상에서 모형선의 선수동요에 따라 용수철이 부착된 수평 테이블의 수직 축이 선수동요되도록 함으로써, 모형선을 고정시킨 상태에서 중력 복원력을 통한 정확한 횡동요 방향 관성모멘트와 선수동요 방향 관성모멘트를 함께 계측할 수 있도록 하는 모형선의 횡동요 및 선수동요 방향 관성모멘트 측정 장치에 관한 것이다.
