Summary: | A method for manufacturing a nanowire using a metal catalyst according to an embodiment includes the steps of: dissolving an oxide precursor in an aqueous solvent; generating an oxide precipitate by adding a precipitate to the aqueous solvent in which the oxide precursor is dissolved; making the oxide precipitate react with a metal catalyst added into the aqueous solvent; and heating the aqueous solvent to grow the oxide precipitate into a nanowire.
