Disclosed are a mobile user authentication device based on context data and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile user authentication device based on context data comprises: a context data aggregation unit that collects context data for a user of a mobile device and aggregates it in units of a certain period; a context database that stores the context data aggregated by the context data aggregation unit; and a user authentication unit that extracts the context data by dividing it into basic context data and request context data and calculates an authentication score considering distribution and freedom of the context data to provide it to an authentication request application. 맥락 데이터 기반 모바일 사용자 인증 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 맥락 데이터 기반 모바일 사용자 인증 장치는, 모바일 기기의 사용자에 대한 맥락 데이터를 수집하여 일정 기간 단위로 집계하는 맥락 데이터 집계부; 상기 맥락 데이터 집계부에 의해 집계된 상기 맥락 데이터를 저장하는 맥락 데이터베이스; 및 상기 맥락 데이터를 기초 맥락 데이터 및 요청 맥락 데이터로 구분하여 추출하고, 상기 맥락 데이터의 분산 및 자유도를 고려한 인증 점수를 산출하여 인증 요청 앱에 제공하는 사용자 인증부를 포함할 수 있다.
